In ihrer Arbeit konzentriert sich Nora hauptsächlich auf Food-Fotografie, Portraits und Still Lifes. Besonderen Wert legt sie dabei auf Themen wie Nachhaltigkeit und Tierwohl. Mit ihren Bildern möchte sie zu einem bewussten und achtsamen Umgang mit Konsum und Ressourcen beitragen sowie zum Umdenken inspirieren. Momentan fotografiert sie hauptsächlich Food und Portraits für Magazine, inszeniert Produkte für Brands und arbeitet an Kochbuchpublikationen.
Ihre freien Arbeiten stellt sie regelmäßig in Galerien und Museen aus. Die Werke zeigte sie in zahlreichen Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen in Berlin, Zürich, Leipzig, Luzern und Zug. In den künstlerischen Arbeiten geht es um die Herausforderungen und Unsicherheiten, denen wir als Menschen gegenüberstehen. Zum Beispiel die Verknüpfung von Themen wie Natur und Architektur. Nora interessiert sich dabei für Fragen wie: „Was ist natur- und was ist menschgemacht?“ oder „Welchen Einfluss haben gesellschaftliche Konventionen und das Patriarchat auf uns?“
Die Schweizer Fotografin mit britisch-italienischen Wurzeln entwickelte schon früh ihre Leidenschaft für Kultur und die Lust am Entdecken neuer Orte. Einen Teil der Kindheit verbrachte sie in Barcelona.
Während des Vorkurses an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künstle ZHdK entsprang ihre Liebe zur Fotografie und darum absolvierte sie anschließend eine vierjährige Ausbildung zur eidgenössisch diplomierten Fotografin in einem Fotostudio für Werbung. 2016 erhielt sie ein Atelierstipendium in Berlin. Im Anschluss pendelte sie drei Jahre zwischen Berlin und Zürich hin und her. Nora ist seit 16 Jahren selbstständig und arbeitet in Zürich.

In her work Nora focuses mainly on food, portraits and fair fashion. She places particular emphasis on topics such as sustainability and animal rights. She does work with various companies and brands in the fields of natural cosmetics, food and fashion. With her images, she wants to contribute to a conscious and mindful approach to consumption and resources as well as being an inspiration towards rethinking.
The Swiss photographer with British-Italian roots developed her passion for culture and the desire to discover new places at an early age. She spent part of her childhood in the art metropolis of Barcelona.
During the preliminary course at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) her love for photography sparked and that's why she subsequently completed a four-year apprenticeship as a federally certified photographer in a photo studio for advertising. In 2016 she received a studio scholarship in Berlin. Nora has been self-employed for 16 years and works at Atelier Narrato in Zurich.
While Nora now works on classic advertising commissions, she regularly exhibits her artistic works in galleries and museums. At the "Museum zu Allerheiligen" in Schaffhausen Nora's series "Spreepark Berlin" has been a permanent part of the art and graphics collection since 2015.
She has also shown her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Berlin, Zurich, Leipzig, Lucerne and Zug.
Nora's visual productions are also used in many books, such as "Vom Fleck weg" by Erica Matile, in the cookbooks "Karibisch vegan" and "Tasty Treats" by Aris Guzman, and in "Healthy, Quick and Simple" by Sabrina Stierli.
